At The Denver Concert Band, we have a saying: "No Strings Attached."
That means we play wind music. Unlike a string chamber orchestra
that creates sounds on violins and cellos, we are a band. Our
musicians create music by blowing air through instruments such as
flutes, trumpets, clarinets, trombones, tubas, saxophones, french
horns and euphoniums.
Over the past 40+ years, we've developed a reputation for our eclectic sound. Our concerts might feature a jazzy Sinatra tune, a Mozart concerto, a rousing march
or two, a vocal soloist, or even a bluegrass group. Our loyal audiences know they should expect something new and different every concert, which makes our performances fun for everyone.
If you're in the mood for entertaining wind music, we have a Formal
Concert Season (October through April), an every other year Holiday Concert Season (December), and a Summer Pops Season (May through
September). Visit this web site or call us at 303-83-MUSIC for information about our next performance.
