Young Artist Scholarship and Concert

The Young Artist Concert and Scholarship is a DCB community outreach program that supports Colorado kids and wind music education.

We started it in 1977, when we realized that area high school seniors needed a program that would encourage them to pursue music performance as a profession.

Winners are selected by audition and perform a selection with the band in the Young Artist concert. Over the years, our endowment has allowed the Young Artist Scholarship to grow. Currently, each winner receives $2000.
